The old wall hugs this side of the garden tightly to shelter the house from the worst of the coastal winds. This is the only part of the garden that has really been planted. A myriad of plants and flowers interlace against the sky to give not only shelter but a feast for the senses, in colour texture and scent, alive with the sound of insects. Here I imagined how this side of the garden would look at the turn of season.
