A perfect warm summers days at Meenasillagh . The air is alive with insects and the hum of bees. A striking foxglove at the edge of the garden stands tall against the sky. Dressed in a royal purple, beckoning the bumble bees to feed from it's nectar. This simple garden is a delight, the grass is cut occasionally but on the whole nature is left alone and when it is, a garden becomes a little haven for wildlife.
Original painting, mixed media on 160gms pastel paper.
