This is a painting from one of those near perfect Summer's day in Connemara. We stumbled across this beach walking along the coast from a busier beach and had the whole place to ourselves. A beach strewn with huge boulders with crystal clear shallow waters. This beach connects to the small uninhabited Oileán an Lao or Calf Island. When the tide is out you can even walk across and have the island to yourself.
