Ditches are hidden places. Ditches and banks and natives hedgerows are of what's left of our rainforests. Our jungles that once covered the land. Now they are our wildlife corridors. Mammals and birds can travel up and down them undisturbed. They are quiet places, little secret places, that attract children and animals alike. This bank is full of rabbits burrows, wildflowers and ferns. Remnants of our ancient woodlands, let's leave them undisturbed.
