Another view from a ditch. Looking up at the bank it is full of small wild plants. A pile of old stones where an old pier may have one time stood. The intimate history of the land being slowly lost as those who once knew, have now past. Those old walls and hedges have long been replaced with barb wire. The tall straight Beech trees stand proud on top of the bank. The elder didn't have much of chance to be straight having been born in a ditch. But I think it's all the better for it as it's struggle for survival has given it it's character.
