Welcome to the Gallery of Irish landscape artist Bríd óg Norrby.

About the Work.

"Walking around the farm and surrounding countryside, I am struck by simple motifs for my paintings and drawings. Sunlight hitting a distant field, the scraggy outline of a hawthorn hedge or interlacing leaves against a fading evening sky.

I am constantly inspired by the wonders of our skies….the ever changing light and how it plays on our land."

My work is nature based and direct from the source. Starting all my work outdoors, it evolves with the seasons. By really experiencing nature I try to capture the essence and atmosphere of the landscape which I hope you will get a sense of as you browse through my work".

In this video hear what one buyer had to say about the painting that she purchased;

"My paintings will give you a glance at some of the wilder and hidden places in the country, and up close to the nature that surrounds me".

For every piece of artwork sold a native Irish tree will be planted, so you'll also be doing your bit to help combat climate change and protect our precious wildlife.
